When telling the time, the numbers 1, 3, 4, change to

1-μία     3-τρεις           4- τέσσερις

A quarter past 5 is πέντε και τέταρτο, literally 5 and a quarter

Α quarter to 5 is πέντε παρά τέταρτο, literally 5 but for a quarter
