The participles decline according to number, gender and case just like the adjectives in -ος, -η, -ο. Τhe participle in -μένος, -μένη, -μένο can modify a noun and it has to agree with the noun in gender, number and case.
Ο Eρίκος είναι πολύ κουρασμένος και θέλει να κοιμηθεί αλλά η Αγκάθα δεν είναι καθόλου κουρασμένη και θέλει να πάει βόλτα
The structure είμαι κουρασμένος has roughly the same meaning as the present perfect έχω κουραστεί. H Aγκάθα δεν είναι κουρασμένη Η Αγκάθα δεν έχει κουραστεί
