Verbs ending in -ώνω make the Simple Future in -ώσω

 

Simple Present                                         Simple Future

πληρώνω Ι pay                        θα πληρώσω  Ι will pay

πληρώνεις you pay                  θα πληρώσεις  you will pay

πληρώνει he/she/it pays    θα πληρώσει   he/she/it will pay

πληρώνουμε we pay                θα πληρώσουμε we will play

πληρώνετε you pay                  θα πληρώσετε you will play

πληρώνουν they pay                θα πληρώσουν they will play

Other common verbs like πληρώνω are : χαλαρώνω ( I relax), μαλώνω ( I argue)
