Τhe use of the accusative case in time phrases

Τί μέρα είναι σήμερα;  What’s day today?

Σήμερα είναι Κυριακή. Today it’s Sunday

But

Tί θα κάνεις την Δεύτερα;  What will you do on Monday?

Την Δευτέρα θα πάω για καφέ. On Monday I will go for a coffee.

Tην επόμενη εβδομάδα, θα έχω / κάνω μάθημα. (In) the next week, Ι will do/ have a lesson.

Reminder: Days of the Week (all days are feminine except for Saturday which is neutral το Σάββατο)

Δευτέρα, Τρίτη, Τετάρτη, Πέμπτη, Παρασκευή, Σάββατο, Κυριακή

Tα γενέθλιά μου είναι αυτή την Δευτέρα. My birthday is this Monday
